Web design for clinics

Website design for physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage clinics

A new patient is often in discomfort and wants to know quickly whether you treat their problem and who they would see and how to book. Tekton designs clinic websites that answer those questions in a few taps.

In one line: a clinic website should explain what you treat and who treats it, make booking an assessment easy on a phone, show accurate practitioner information and stay within your college's advertising standards, and Tekton builds it to work with Jane, Cliniko or Noterro.

Connected to your front desk

Booking stays in Jane, Cliniko or Noterro.

The site links to your online booking in the practice software you already use, so appointments land on the right practitioner's schedule. If you have no system yet, we recommend one and set it up.

What does a clinic website need to do?

It has to build enough trust for someone to book with a stranger about their body. That means plain language, real faces, clear information about your approach and an obvious way to book. A site that leads with stock photos and vague promises gives an anxious patient little to go on, and a booking button three taps deep gets missed.

Patients also arrive with different needs: a first-time injury, a referral from a physician, an ongoing course of care, or a question about direct billing. The site has to let each of them find their answer without calling the front desk.

What goes into a site built for clinics?

Practitioner profiles

A page for each practitioner with their profession, registration, treatment approach and focus areas, and a booking link straight to their schedule.

Service and condition pages

What you treat and how an assessment works, written for patients and structured so Google and assistants such as ChatGPT can read it.

A first-visit page

What to wear, what to bring, how long it takes, how direct billing works and what the cancellation policy is. It answers the questions that otherwise become front-desk calls.

Booking placed where decisions happen

A booking button in the header, on each practitioner and service page, and at the end of each article, connected to your online booking.

Accessible, calm design

Readable type, strong contrast, large tap targets and a layout that works for patients of all ages, including those on older phones.

Advertising-standard-aware copy

No cure promises, no outcome claims and no testimonial use that your college does not allow. We review the wording with you before launch.

How do we handle reviews and patient stories on the site?

Ontario's health colleges set their own advertising standards, and they differ on testimonials. So the site keeps review language general: a link to your Google reviews and a simple statement that patients can read feedback there. Pulled quotes and before-and-after stories stay off the site unless your college clearly allows them. You and your practitioners check the wording against your profession's current standards before launch.

Your team's time is tight, so the site is also easy to maintain. Hours and practitioner changes and holiday closures are edits you can make yourself, and the structural work stays with us. The clinic keeps ownership of the domain and content. For more on scope, read what a clinic website costs in Ontario.

What do we need from your team?

Less than you would expect. We need a short interview with each practitioner, a set of decent photos or a shoot day, your policies on cancellations and direct billing, and the booking link for each appointment type. Everything else we write and build.

You get two rounds of review, and practitioners approve their own pages and anything that touches clinical language. If you already have a site, we redirect every old address to its new page so your search presence carries over. The launch is scheduled around your quiet times, and the front desk gets a short walkthrough so nobody is surprised by a new patient arriving through the new booking path.

How does this fit the Growth Engine seat?

The site is the build in the Growth seat, and the other tracks plug into it: local SEO, reviews, booking and AI search. The build is a one-time investment, then the monthly seat keeps improving it. See the packages page.

This is our founding-client guarantee. The monthly seat is waived until the engine produces the agreed number of new tracked enquiries (tracked calls and booking-form requests from the channels we build) within 90 days of go-live. Paid ads are excluded, and you answer or return the calls that come in. The build is paid and yours either way. We never promise rankings or bookings or revenue.

Common questions

Do I have to leave Jane or Cliniko?

No. The site connects to your existing online booking. We only suggest a change if your setup is clearly costing you bookings.

Can I show testimonials on my site?

That depends on your college's advertising standards. We keep the default compliant and general, and review any exception with you.

Do you write the practitioner bios?

We draft them from a short interview with each practitioner, and they approve the final text.

Will the site work on a phone?

It is designed for phones first, since that is where most new patients arrive, and we test the booking path on real devices.

What does the Blueprint show me?
