Local SEO for trades and clinics in Paris, Ontario plus St. George and Burford. Profiles and county pages by a Brantford team about 15 to 20 minutes away.
From Brantford: 13 km, about 15 to 20 minutes
Tekton Digital does local search work for Paris, Ontario businesses in the trades and in paramedical care, plus the wider County of Brant, from Google Business Profile setup to a page for each service and town. The team works from Brantford, 13 km (about 15 to 20 minutes) from Paris.
The County of Brant covers 817 square kilometres and surrounds Brantford. That geography shapes the map results. Google ranks local results on relevance and distance and prominence, and for some county households a Brantford business is the closer one. Distance is fixed, so a Paris plumber competes for those searches on relevance and prominence.
Google's own suggestions, pulled on 3 October 2026, show two vocabularies.
For in-town work, people type the town and add "ontario". "plumbing paris ontario" and "electrician paris ontario" both appeared, along with "roofing company paris ontario" and "chiropractor paris ontario". Leave off "ontario" and the list fills with Texas and Tennessee.
For rural work, they type the county. "septic pumping brant county" and "well drilling brant county" came up, and so did tree service and snow removal. None of the clinic searches used the county name.
So a well driller or a septic company needs a page titled with "Brant County", and a physiotherapy clinic needs one titled with "Paris, Ontario". Mixing them up costs you the searches that pay.
For water trades, there is a ready-made page topic. The County hands out free well-test kits at the Paris and Burford offices and at the St. George and Scotland-Oakland library branches. Those kits test for coliforms and E. coli only. A page explaining what the free kit leaves out answers a question rural owners already have, and it sits under the county name they search.
St. George is home to 3,354 people. Its plumbing and physiotherapy and massage searches all appear in Google's suggestions, next to results for Utah and New Brunswick. Burford's searches come back mixed with a town in England. A page for each, written with "Ontario" and "County of Brant" in the text, gives Google the context it lacks.
The villages are different. Oakland and Onondaga and Glen Morris never appeared with a trade or clinic term, so a thin page for each would chase searches nobody types. Name them in your service-area text and set them on your profile.
Reviews feed prominence too, which is why they sit inside this work. The trades local SEO page covers the season-by-season plan.
The towns. Google service areas work best as named places, so list Paris and St. George and Burford and any others you serve. Put "Brant County" in the page titles for rural services, where people search by it.
Sometimes, if your profile is strong and the search is specific. Distance still counts, so a Brantford page on your site and Brantford in your service areas help. Expect Paris and the county to stay your strongest ground.
Cainsville straddles the line between the City of Brantford and the County of Brant, so check which side your address falls on. Then write that address the same way on your profile and your site and every directory listing. Name the other side in your service-area text if you work there.
Two different systems decide the website results and the map results. Here is why a clinic can win one and be invisible in the other, and what to fix.
